What is TRIN???

hey,

I was on another forum (yes i do go to other forums), and they were mentioning a technical indicator called TRIN?? What is the TRIN? What does it do? Thanks

Hi again new2trade!

The TRIN is short for Traders Index. It is calculated by taking the advances-to-declines spread and dividing that by the volume of advances to declines.

All you really need to know is that if the value of this is less than 1, then it is considered to be a very bullish indicator, and you should buy.
